7th Bad Idea [Video]
[ The video broadcast is made at an uncomfortable 4 AM and for those who were around for the superhero Gotham event, it might be a familiar sight. It's Isaac, but he's dressed up in a suit and tie, donning a pair of sunglasses. ]
...Great.
[ The face he's making however says that it is indeed not great. This is made completely clear by him pulling the sunglasses off. ]
Anyone noticed this place likes to pull you back at the most inopportune times?
[ That's it, that's the video broadcast. ]

[ video ]
[ He thinks he might be able to hazard a guess, but might as well at least ask and see what he says. ]
[ video ]
I've been here before, but for a while I was back home... And now I'm here again.
[ He pauses briefly. ]
How long have you been here?
[ video ]
[ He's not fond of that idea in the least. ]
It's been five, no, six days now.
[ Not very long, in other words. ]
[ video ]
[ Isaac wouldn't feel so bad for him if he knew the guy was a time traveling alien, but y'know. ]
So you're new.
[ Great, he's just getting back and he is still one to give the Welcome to Wonderhell, lions, tigers and bears, oh my! speech. Not that he minds too much. ]
This place can send you back, bring you back, erase memories, bring you back from the dead and even bring your friends here. Generally - uh - my rule of thumb is if you can think it -- it can do it.
[ He's not normally this chatty, especially with strangers but there are things he'd wished he knew when he'd been dragged here. ]

Yeah, I've noticed it has a habit of snatching people up when they're doing something.

don't let the sarcastic comment get to you, because he did, actually, miss isaac when he was gone. with scott leaving and isaac disappearing, the room had been freakishly quiet and it would be nice to have a little company again. even if it's isaac's company.
he wants to know e v e r y t h i n g that's happening at home, too. everything. ] Why are you wearing a suit, was it prom or something? What the hell.

[ Ew, gross, Stiles. ]
It was -- uh... I was helping Allison and her dad.
no subject
[ Sorry for the barrage of questions. Stiles seems to remember himself halfway through, though. ] Oh--uh, welcome back, I guess.

[ Isaac's hand moves to touch behind his ear, feeling the scar. ]
No one's died from any of the attacks yet.

[ Relieved? Relieved. Although, at the same time, Derek is incredibly confused (and also feels guilty, because he shouldn't be relieved that Isaac is back and also because Scott is gone).
He cocks an eyebrow at the getup, and the sunglasses that make him look like a stick bug. ]
What's with the suit? [ Well, he looks to be intact and doesn't seem panicked for whatever reason. ]
no subject
Apparently.
[ Call him a stick bug to his face and he'll disown you faster than you can say Hale fire. ]
I was - uh - trying to look like an arms dealer.
no subject
An arms dealer.
[ His eyes narrow, in that way that he, Stiles, and Scott all share when piecing something together. ]
What's even happening back home that has you needing to look like an arms dealer.

I was helping Allison and her dad -- I got attacked by [ Ninjas... His hand moves to rub behind his ear. ] I got attacked and they were going after everyone. We were trying to save Scott... We needed information from Silverfinger.

That's still not my name -- so you're crazy about me?
[ Even if he looks like a catholic school boy. ]

I never think of myself as part of everybody. [Duh. Still, she can't help but smile a little.]
So, did we take you from your shotgun wedding?

Does anyone choose to come at a particular time? You seem as though you were pulled from...somewhere important.
I don't know, I've never had a choice. I was in the middle of helping my friends with something important.
[No rocks falling? Fires?]
May I ask what you were doing?

Sometimes when it's dead quiet, Adam could really use a distraction, and this serves as a good one, though at first he's not sure he's really seeing what he's seeing.]
Don't tell me you visited the future again and it's non-stop funerals.
[Hard to tell if Adam's joking or if he's genuinely concerned about people zipping off into different times and returning with news of the impending twentieth annual apocalypse, or whatever number they're supposed to be up to in Wonderland. Both options sound like he's sitting in a comedy club and not getting any of the punchlines.
In all the confusion, someone may or may not have noticed you were even gone, too, whoops.]
no subject
[ There's a grin on his face. ]
And before you ask, no, I'm not just coming from a wedding either.
[ He pauses because he's not really sure what to think about the future... It sure seems like it's going a lot better than when he came from last. No crazy Darach, just... Things that can pop in and out of shadows. ]
What about here? What did I miss?
no subject
Tax collector.
[That would've been his next suggestion. Excuse you, Isaac, he can be more creative than Four Weddings and a Funeral even at this time of night.
His shrug is practically audible.]
Same old stuff.
[Because he's not totally sure what Isaac could have missed in his absence.]
