{{ shallow breathing can be heard as the camera clicks on, first filming the palm of the mans hand, then finally flipping over to face him. his lefthand runs slowly over the front of his face, eyebrows pulled inward as he stares down at the strange little machine, hearing odd noises comingout from it. }}

[ He puts down the coffee mug, and backtracks through the conversation a bit for the sake of a better explanation. ]
There's magic or something stopping anyone from leaving. If you don't believe in magic, don't bother telling me, I don't care. You'll see it in action. [ Here, have a checklist of examples. ] You can't leave. Unless you vanish back to your world, but you don't get to choose that. You can open a closet thinking of something and it'll probably have it in there. If you die you'll come back to life the first few times. And sometimes Wonderland changes to mess with you.
[ Coffee contemplation. ] And people here are from different universes. [ Weird how that's become one of the less notable things about Wonderland, at least on a day to day basis. ]

All of this certainly does seem like something that would come out of a storybook. Dying and coming back to life...and different universes? Like angels and demons? Or ghosts?
