video; (Real!Frank)
[When Frank turns on the phone he's barely looking at the network. He seems more focused in checking his arrows- all the different kinds of arrows he could gather.]
These things, the... mirrors, the ones that have crossed over.
[He strings the bow, testing the feel of it on his fingers. Those from his world will recognize that as something Frank does when he's nervous, even though his face is completely calm.]
What happens if we kill them?

It, uh, well, we die? It hurts?! Jeez, you people sometimes...

He's probably not going to fully believe it, either, but definitely not complaining.]
But do you come back after that?

[Forgive him; he's new here and very, very confused about why everyone is panicking right now.]

[This is Frank's first real experience with the mirrors, and that's exactly why he's freaking out.]

[And Dylas still doesn't get why someone wants to kill a reflective surface. Low self-esteem?]

"Usually". I've seen monsters reform and come back. [That was actually kind of their thing back home.] And we get back if we die in here, as long as we keep it under 5 times. So what's to say it isn't the same for them?

Well, monsters don't die. What if mirrors are the same? What if when we kill them they go back to the other side?

[But certainly didn't act like her.]
How hostile. [Her lips parted for a moment, showing a fleeting glimpse of tongue. Eyes unseen, but the subtle movements of her head indicated she was looking over the image of him on screen very carefully. And approving.] Not unlike him.
[Frank's mirror.]
...is this the part where I volunteer?
video
I don't care if I am like him. [Though part of him does, and it kind of makes him worry to think that he might be anything like the mirror image of himself. But he isn't going to let this creature with Hazel's face get to him.]
And no, you don't, until I know what happens to you if I do. [He'd been hoping maybe someone would tell him they'd go back to their side, reform there like monsters did in Tartarus.]
video
But you won't know until you try.
Come on. You know you want to. Just a single arrow...right... [One hand rose to the middle of her collar bone, finger lightly trailing downward until it stopped right at the middle of her chest. Over her heart.] here.

[Not that Zatanna's saying they should be friendly with the mirrors; she knows most of them are going to be bad guys. But jumping straight to killing? Definitely doesn't sit well with her.]
There are going to be ways to stop them without resorting to that. Not to mention it's a little disturbing that that's your first thought.
video
Or, well, yeah, but I meant- do they reform, somewhere? Do they go back to where they come from? I'm not going to shoot to kill if they would just die.
Re: video
But he actually does manage to point out that death may not mean death for things that supposedly aren't real. The problem is, no matter how they're made, they still look and act like people.] I don't know, and I don't think it's a risk worth taking. If you can use that bow to kill, then you can definitely use it to disable. One of my closest friends back home is an archer, and she did that all the time.
[And in the midst of this mess, Zatanna really wishes Artemis were around right.]

I don't think you want to try that, Frank. We aren't the enemy here. Don't you know "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"? [ the jabberwocky threatens everyone; they both need the sword. the only difference is mirrisse is much more willing to stab him in the back with it to deliver it to the queen. ]

Feels like an offense to him.]
I don't care about that. We'll get the sword eventually- I know we will. [They have Annabeth, after all.] But we have to make sure the Queen doesn't get her hands on it first.
And for that you guys have to go back to where you belong.

Frank, you can't just go around picking them off. I know we have no idea what all of them are capable of but we also don't know what it'll do to the rest of us.
( video )
But now, he just... sighs and nods to agree.]
Yeah, you're right. Annabeth pointed that out too... but that means we have to find another way to stop them. Having them around kind of freaks me out.
