[ Crowley's dark wings loom dangerously behind him and not much of his surroundings can be see in the video, but it's probably hard to pay attention to the wall behind him when there's a livid angel on the screen.

His face is tense in a way few people have seen during his time in Wonderland. He's not annoyed or frustrated. He's angry. ]

John Blake is dead, but at least one of you already knew that, didn't you?

[ And, oh, is he going to teach them a lesson. ]

[ OOC: All network responses are welcome. Action responses from demons will probably end in severe damage from Crowley, so if that's your bag, let's discuss it OOC first. If you would like your character to interact with Crowley about this after the event is over and he's a demon again, I will direct you to his IC contact post or you can just mark the thread as such here if you're concerned about it counting for AC. ]

What happened?

[ There are a lot of things Crowley could say about the nature of his forceful death and its clear lack of accident. He could say where it took place or that there are signs of all sorts of damage, but instead he simply says ]

What?

[Evelyn only spoke with him a day or so ago, in one of the Mansion's many parlours. There had been the slightest undercurrent of tension between them, but it was nothing that two old friends could not surmount.

John's eagerness (although she had previously called him rash) to find Wonderland's serial killer was - is strong, and perhaps it is some great cosmic irony that Wonderland chose to take one of his lives away after Evelyn spent all that time telling him about the impermanence of death here.

The shoe fits too snugly to be comfortable.]

How- When?

It couldn't have been that long ago. I was just with him last night.

[ While he doesn't know Evelyn well himself, Blake's spoken of her enough for him to know that she's someone he can confide in about the situation more than he might with most others. ]

I do believe it was a demon, though. There are signs of an inhuman struggle.

It doesn't matter that their last conversation (though thanks to Wonderland, not last, but it's a cold comfort) was a hot blooded travesty from John's direction, but Wonderland's chosen method of cooling his heels is a perfect example of its sick fucking sense of humor. ]

Over the weekend? [ Right when no one who still had their memories intact could help. ]

It was Monday morning. I saw him late on Sunday and he was still very much alive.

[ Crowley's words are clipped, but not entirely aggressive. He doesn't necessarily mind people asking after Blake, because Blake deserves to have people care about him. Blake deserves a lot and maybe at the top of that list is not getting killed. ]

I take it you haven't seen him in the last few days?

Somewhat. It depends. We've all got a few freebies, from what I've been told, and I've experienced coming back from death once, myself.

[Sam has been hiding from the event for the most part. People have changed and he's not interested in becoming a pawn in some heavenly war between people who... well, they aren't. It's scary venturing outside so it's been video games and comics in his room for the weekend.

But this... this is so much worse.

He doesn't know Crowley very well, and Blake a little less, but they'd both sort of been decent to him the last time they had an event (and he tries to forgot what had gone on in that janitor's cupboard) and he knows what it's like to lose someone.]

[With angels and demons both out in large numbers over this particular weekend, Martha's done what she can to keep herself and her friends safe. Which mainly involves laying low and avoiding those who've been affected, both for her sake and for theirs.

She's well aware of how much regret can set in after an event ends, and she'd rather not make it worse for anyone.

In this case, though, she can't simply ignore what's going on. Crowley's never had wings before, so it seems he's been upgraded from demon to angel, although Blake's death is a much larger concern for her.

This keeps on happening, and the frustrating part is they won't have a way of narrowing down who did it.]

Not sure the culprit's just going to show up because you asked. [She's wearing a frown -- Blake's a friend, and she's sick of death.] Where did you find him? What state was he in?

Maybe he'll be able to tell us who it was when he comes back.

[ He is coming back. Of this, Crowley is sure, because Blake's things are still here and because the moron simply has to. ]

He was in his room. The whole thing was a mess, Martha.

[ Martha is perhaps one of the few people who Crowley has any faith in here and while he might not trust her any more than he trusts anyone else, she has helped him and he likes her well enough. She'd better not try to bring anyone into Blake's room, though. ]
