[ Henry's sitting in his bedroom, a handful of different illustrations pinned to a bulletin board behind him. Maybe some old school veterans of Wonderland recognize the last two.

When Henry addresses the network, he just has one pretty specific question. ]

If someone was writing a story about your life, of everything up to this point, what would you want, more than anything, for them to get right about you?

It's certainly in better hands than it used to be.

[god you're the worst Isaac.]

But what brought this on?

Just...thinking about the responsibility of being the author. I never want what happened to you to happen to anyone else. It isn't fair.

Unless you suddenly turn into Isaac, I don't think anybody needs to worry about that, Henry.

You have to be confident in me, you're my mom.

[ He's smiling though, he knows she's not wrong, and he does believe in himself. ]

It's just a big job. And if I'm busy making sure everyone else's story gets written then...when do I write my own?

[There are so many things she could say to that first comment, but she won't.]

Well. Our book is over now. Our stories are hardly done but who says you have to write the next chapter?

Uh...apparently, fate and a magic pen.

[ u were there mom. ]

[Just gonna fix u with a look, son.]

You know what I mean, Henry.

Okay, but who else do you really trust?

[ How do you like that look right back HE LEARNED IT FROM YOU MOM. ]

That's besides the point, young man.

[ Heavy teenage sigh. ]

Who's supposed to finish all the untold stories? People outside of our family deserve happy endings, too, don't they?

They are. They're untold because they haven't finished playing themselves out.

[ Henry has to think about that for a few seconds, forehead furrowing in concentration. ]

What about when I wrote Ruby and Dorothy's story? Who would have finished that one? Or was I....writing in real time?

[ Being the author is so confusing and he doesn't understand because someone didn't explain it to him before they died. ]

I think you were writing that one as it was happening.

[Please don't write softcore lesbian erotica in front of your family ever again?]

Oh. I guess that makes sense. So, I'm not really writing...new stories. I'm...recording them for history?

[ Is that what's happening here? ]

Well, you could write new stories but you saw what happened to Isaac.

[DO NOT GET TRAPPED IN A BOOK, HENRY.]

But yes, I think that's what the Author was meant to do. Too bad Merlin and the Apprentice are dead.

Yeah, that really sucks. I have no idea what I'm doing so it feels like this is all made up as I go along.

Also, I wrote some really weird symbols or something that I don't remember doing.

[ Probably should have mentioned that up top but, okay. ]

Well, you haven't done it since the Final Battle was won, have you? So I think we can trust Isaac. [A beat.] On that. Not on anything else.

[god he's the worst.]

But if there's nobody around to guide you... What do you want being the Author to mean, Henry?

[ ...maybe it happened once in Wonderland but sure, we'll go with back home's the only time. And just the one time, not with David around or anything.

Her question, though, makes him go quiet as he thinks. ]

I want it to mean...I can help people if they need it. If someone else tries to ever ruin their stories or interfere, I can make sure that doesn't happen.

[DAMN IT HENRY.]

But what if your interference makes things worse?

[The last thing she wants is to tear him down, but this is a Big Deal. He needs to be ready for anything.]

And what if I don't do anything and the same thing happens?

[ He huffs out a breath, actually moving a hand over the top of his head before looking at the camera a little sideways. ]

What if there is someone out there, a different author in a different realm who could teach me what to do and how to do it?

Wouldn't that be how the story is meant to go?

[Henry you know how stories work. They get worse before they get better.]

That is a different matter.

Then maybe that's just what I'm supposed to do. Go out and learn and only do when I'm supposed to. But I don't know when that is, or when to expect that weird writing trance. I feel like I don't know anything, mom.

From what Isaac said, you shouldn't have that happen again... Not unless there's another Final Battle coming.

[And if there is, there'll be hell to pay.]

Maybe there's something in Wonderland that can help. A book, or a fresh perspective.

Unless he was wrong. How do we know he wasn't?

[ Henry sighs and nods a little. ]

Maybe. I'll keep looking. Even if being the author isn't as impactful as I thought it would be, I still want to do something important.

[ He's always wanted to be a hero, make a name for himself among a family full of infamous names. ]

Because he knows what will happen to him if I find out so much as a word of what he said is a lie.

[He will die. Horribly. Quite possibly by having that car backed over his head repeatedly.]

Telling people's stories still has an impact, Henry. Look at mine and Snow's story. Ruby's. Belle's.
