audio + action
[She means to head the opposite way; Cami's shift at the bar is over , and she's headed down to her room to rest for a bit. But on her way out her phone slips between purse and hand, falls to the floor in just the right place for Cami to kick it further down the hall. She huffs out a laugh at her own clumsiness, turns intending to take the few steps needed to pick it up--
Then stops mid-stride as she sees the trail of blood where it's landed.
This isn't at all the first time Cami's come across a massacre. In her own world they're--well. Far more common than such a tragedy has a right to be. But even though there is only one body at the end of the path, there's so much blood it feels like there should be more. She swallows hard, wills back the urge to be sick as her stomach rolls, the panic that wants to grip her mind. There's too much blood to expect this poor soul to be saved, and yet she still has to try.
So she moves over to the body, once living and whole, reaches into the mess to try and find where his pulse should be. A futile effort met with its expected reward, fingers covered in red, tacky fluid. How could they not be, when so little of him is left in tact? She doesn't want to look, but part of her knows she has to. She needs to figure out who this is, except that when she does, it's completely wrong.
She's not supposed to meet Sam this way. They only run into each other at parties, where Cami makes jokes about ridiculous hats and gets him to dance even when neither of them really want to, just to tease him.
She sucks in a deep breath, although that almost makes it worse. That much blood carries with it a smell, metallic and sharp, and she can almost taste it for how strong it is. But she can't let herself falter now. Someone has done this, and with no event in progress, that someone remains a danger to everyone else in the mansion.]
[She stands up, takes a few steps away from the body. Her eyes keep a constant watch on the hall around her, even as she turns on the phone to send out a message--audio only. She won't subject anyone else to this sight if she can avoid it.]
Um. I'm sorry, but--there's been a murder on the fifth floor. [There can be no other word for it. This violence, this cruelty can be no accident.] I found the victim. Sam. It's Sam Winchester.
[God, what is she even saying? Cami, of all people, should be able to put these words together better.]
Please don't come up here unless you absolutely have to. I'm near room--[A pause, as she looks for the nearest door] Room thirteen. I don't know who did it; there wasn't anyone here when I found him, but someone did. So please, be careful.

Oh my god.
[ It's not so easy to ignore who it is, who's laying there, and all of the color drains from Charlie's face, shocked straight through to the core of her. She feels a little numb, weighted by the realization, and the only thing that keeps her steady is the fact she knows what happens if someone dies here. But it's a distant thought because it can't be true, so distant, and her legs feel like jelly as she stumbles forward to get closer. ] What're you-- what happened? I...
[ It's a mess, and she feels sick. She just shakes her head. ]
Some time later...
He cleared his throat and knocked on the door. She probably wasn't up for visitors so he didn't wait for her to answer before he spoke.]
Hey, Charlie. It's me. Well, it's Bigby. Just came by to see how you were doing.

Maybe that's a good thing. From the way the woman's shaking, it doesn't seem like she'll be able to stay on her feet.]
Hey, easy. [Something small she can at least manage, and she holds out her hands in case the other woman needs to brace herself, not thinking of the blood on them.] You--you shouldn't be out here right now.

He sent a text off to Snow. He almost didn't think about it but she'd been his partner for so long that it was second nature. Bigby didn't wait for a response before h headed up to the fifth floor, the scent of blood striking him in the nose. Hard. He looks around and finds the girl who found the body. She looks frightened and he does his best to remember his manners.]
Sheriff Wolf. [He said gruffly, introducing himself with a nod of his head.] I assume you're the one who found him? First, were you alone when you found him? And... are you alright?
Re: [action]
I'm Cami. [She can answer questions okay, echo sentiments. She still feels entirely off-center, as if the world has suddenly started turning too fast while she stands still. But she's on her feet, and though pale, she's kept mostly calm.] I think I'm okay. And yes, I found him. I was coming from the bar, and I dropped my phone...
[She points down the hall, lets her hand sweep down to point out the way the device had skittered. There's blood on her fingers, from where she tried to help--but what around here isn't covered with the stuff?] Someone just left him like this.

heading over to threadcrash with victor
text/action;
What state is the body in?
[Now that he's picking up the ins and outs to the text message system, Victor can shoot off a message more quickly than he could ever write and send one for the purposes of inquiring after the corpse.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter; he's close to the fifth floor and is on his way to see before he so much as finishes.
By the time he arrives, blood splatter is beginning to cool and congeal. He picks up his pace toward the source of the blood, a rather unassuming-looking Englishman in what would seem a dated style of dress to someone of Cami's time period.]
When did you find him?
action
I don't know. Five, ten minutes ago, maybe? [It's not an entirely unfounded question, except Cami has no idea who this person is. He hasn't introduced herself, or even seemed to pay her much attention at all, save to ask about Sam.] Who are you?

Re: or a Frankenstein, tbh
Cami why are you hanging out w these two?
If they're still close, you might be in trouble.
Re: [Video]
She’s alone with the body, and with thoughts like that. So even though the danger hasn’t made itself apparent, she’s quick to continue, fearful he might think she doesn’t need him to come.] Please hurry, Spike.

i'm sry you had to find him like that.
[ Starting off with this b/c that's never something she wishes on someone - Dean found her after Tom's Valentine's Day Massacres, and she knows he was pretty wrecked about it. ]
sam's a good friend of mine
[ She has a million questions, like if it looked like it might have been quick, or any ideas on who could have done it, but right now she's just sad. ]
Re: [text]
I’m sorry. I don’t know if you’ve been here long, but he’ll come back. I think it’s supposed to depend on how many times he’s died, but—he’ll come back, and he’ll be okay.
[It’s the best she can offer, a promise that feels entirely insufficient.]

Re: audio;
Someone was killed. His body is on the fifth floor, but there’s no sign of who did it from what I can tell. [Except a trail of blood leading down the hall, and Cami swallows.] They’re going to be—if they haven’t cleaned themselves up, you’ll be able to tell who it is when you see them.
[There’s no way the murderer has walked away from this clean.]

[Audio/Private, sometime later.]
[Jo has filed away the information from Cami's initial message, now that she's had the time to listen to it. The news makes her stomach twist itself into a knot; it doesn't take much to put two and two together. Sam, dead. Sam. Suddenly she no longer questioned whose blood Dean had been covered in.
She swallows hard, but her voice is still uneven when she speaks, shaking. Angry and scared.]
Please tell me you're somewhere safe.
[Audio/Private
[God, she's been waiting to hear from her. Cami knows that Jo and Sam are friends, from the same world and no less close for being in Wonderland. So the fact that it's taken this long for the woman to reply has filled Cami with a certain sense of dread. It's hard not to imagine the worst, considering she's come across Sam's body, wrecked and destroyed by so much violence.]
Yeah, I'm okay. I'm with--friends. [Jo can guess easily enough from there, but Cami knows there's only so much comfort to be gotten, given who Cami's protectors are.] What about you? I got worried when I didn't hear from you. Jo, I'm so sorry.

Re: [voice]
Of course, she has no idea just how Klaus intends to deal with it--or rather, no idea that he's planning on altering his typical method of protection so it now applies to her. She's just hoping that he's asking because he means to come find her. Cami knows well that she could be in danger, facing down the same madman that had done this to Sam herself. Having Klaus nearby would do a great deal to ease her fears.]
