So. Has anyone just had the closets go completely rogue on them? Because I was looking for things to help me plan a wedding and somehow I ended up with this instead:

[she moves the camera to show off the siamese kitten she dug out of the closet along with some toys she pulled out for it after because she felt bad for it. it seemed so bored and restless.]

It's so cute I'd feel bad sending it back so I guess I am a cat-mom now? Which means this little lady needs a name. I'm pretty sure she's a lady -- I didn't see any balls on her.

Okay, so if anyone is still paying attention to this, I have a question: it's my fiancé's birthday in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what to get him and when I asked for anon advice about him last year it worked out okay, so maybe owning up to needing the help this time will work too. Just what do you get for someone who is turning 167 anyway?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I do -- I mean, it's not something I'd pick out for myself, but it's perfect coming from him.

Well, it's not like it'll be hard to plan when we can pretty much just ask the closets for whatever we need, right? And a couple of people have offered to help me plan.

Well, yeah, but you need to know what you want before the closet can make it.

You going to take them up on that? Or would you rather plan it on your own? Weddings are pretty personal.

I probably will? I mean, I have no idea how to plan something like this, so I'll need all the help I can get. I don't have a lot of experience with this stuff.

I mean the most important thing is that you both just show up. Other than that it's all just frills.

[Watching the cat try to swat at Wynonna's hair, Daisy can't help but laugh.]

Maybe you should give him a kitten as a birthday present. I've heard they're great for making elderly people feel young again.

[Up until now she didn't know he was as old as he apparently was, but she knew time travel was somehow involved when he mentioned being from 2017 at one point.]

I think he wouldn't like it if I sprung another one on us -- and for my birthday last year he trained a horse for me so I'm not sure I could compete with that.

[Daisy's eyebrows raise in surprise at that. She's got zero experience with horses, but she was pretty sure that was a difficult thing to do.]

Okay, I can see why you're struggling to come up with something good.

As lame as it sounds, I'm sure if you just spent the day with him, maybe made him a cake from scratch, he'd probably like that.

Doc is really extra when it comes to this sort of stuff -- and it's hard to compete with but it's also kinda nice? I've never had anyone who wanted to do things like that for me before.

I made him a cake last year [that doc still has nightmares about because wynonna is a terrible cook.]

Someone suggested surprising him by making him breakfast or something, I'll probably go with something like that.

Sounds like he must really like you.

[It's an obvious understatement, which is why she's smiling as she says it.]

I don't think anyone would ever not be happy to have breakfast made for them. Especially if you bring it to him in bed.

He loves me. Like way more than I probably deserve.

[she hasn't always been kind or fair to doc -- but she's trying to do better.]

Oh, he would not enjoy the in bed part -- he gets mad enough at me about eating in bed already.
